Article Summary

A ticket standing on its own with one submitter is useful, but where it really becomes valuable is when it's enriched by participation from other members. That's what makes feedback collaboration so powerful!

Votes and replies are the two biggest examples of feedback collaboration. Both play a big part into how Centercode generates Impact Score.

Feedback Collaboration Overview

Tips

  • Reply to testers in the feedback if you need more info - If you need more details or have follow-up questions for a piece of feedback, you can ask directly within the feedback item itself! Centercode will automatically notify the submitter when you reply to their feedback.
  • Collaborative feedback is way better than stale feedback - Encourage testers to talk about their experiences with one another inside related feedback. It's one of the best ways to enrich the data you're receiving from participants.
  • Pay attention to all feedback, not just your current focus - Your participants want to feel heard. Even if you solely plan to act on issues, take time to thank testers who submit ideas and praise for putting in the effort. They'll be more motivated to keep giving feedback if they feel like part of the team!

Beta Edition Limitations

  • No access to Impact Score - Impact Score is Centercode's powerful tool that puts a numeric value on how important a piece of feedback is. It combines factors like popularity score (views, replies) and weight (feature value) to score and rank feedback so you can prioritize your work more efficiently.
