# Public copy

**Public Copy**, like your privacy policy or terms of service, lets your users know what's expected of them *and* what they can expect from you while you're handling their data. It's an important first step in any testing community.

Centercode provides an easy way to create and host these documents in your site or to redirect users to documents you're already hosting elsewhere.

### How Do I Manage My Public Copy?

### Tips

- **Don't do double the work** - If your company already has public copy documents written, use Redirect mode to link to them directly.
- **Keep it safe for the public** - Whether you're linking to an existing document or creating a new one, be mindful that these are public documents. Don't include any details about your company, product, or testing procedures that you don't want freely available.
