Ted is Centercode's virtual assistant, who can help steer your tests and continuously engage your testers. As your digital deputy in project management, Ted keeps both you and your testers up to speed with what’s happening in your project.
On the tester side, he increases participation and feedback by sending reminders, sharing relevant updates, and promoting areas in need of tester input automatically.
On the admin side, Ted is your trusty scrum master. In addition to daily updates each morning, he lets you know the minute something project-related needs your attention.
Ted Overview
Tips
- Ted can be used exclusively to keep you and your team in the loop on how things are going - If you prefer to manage tester engagement yourself, feel free to enable only the Admin Messaging side of Ted! He'll reach out to you with daily updates and key metrics, and leave the tester messaging to you.
- Smart engagement is highly recommended - Smart engagement allows Ted use what he’s learned about your testers’ behaviors to promote completing activities and submitting feedback. Turn it on in Ted Settings by clicking the smart engagement checkbox, under Tester Messaging.
Troubleshooting
- How can I stop Ted from sending me project updates? - If you don’t want Ted to email you daily scrum updates, progress reports, or project highlights, you can turn these off in Ted Settings by deselecting the checkboxes under Admin Messages. You will still receive an alert when there’s a project area at risk.
