User account settings

User Account Settings allow you to manage the contact information you collect from users entering your community and project. This includes what information you ask for and whether it's optional or required.

Tips


  • Keep your contacts current - Having your users' current contact info is critical during a test. If it's been a few months, it might be time to remind your users to update their account. They can edit their contact info at any time by clicking the user icon, then choosing *Personal Account Settings* from the drop-down menu. 

Troubleshooting

  • What happens if I set a field as "required" after users have already created their account? - If you set a field as "required" that was previously marked unavailable or optional, Centercode will prompt users to enter the missing info next time they log in.
